About the Owner

Hi, My name is Zataiah Dorman. My career in the dog world began out of high school when I worked at various canine related jobs.

My two part plan was to gain as much experience as possible and learn the most effective ways to communicate our desire as humans with another species, our dogs.

I began work at a veterinary office, eventually moving on to a groomer's salon and following that, a cage-free boarding facility.

Later I received a job managing a kennel which gave me the opportunity to work with many dogs, some of which had various behavioral issues and needed a better source of socialization and exercise.

I took this opportunity to take my previous experiences and worked toward learning how to socialize dogs in a safe and efficient way. My goal was to bring one dog to a social state of mind and create consistency in their positive behavior.

After that, they became a part of the "socialized" pack ready to help socialize the next addition. These experiences were amazing and gave me an insight into dog behavior that I found to be very special and unique.

With this knowledge developed I was ready to commence with part two of my plan and learn how to articulate this information to other people in a way that they can understand and implement.

My techniques in my profession are unique to my personality and my experiences.  It has proven to be constantly evolving.

My goal for the future is to continue learning as much as possible and to help as many dogs and people as I can. In doing so hopefully contribute to improve the quality of our canine and human communities through helping to improve our communication and in turn our strengthen our unity.
